Our studio classes

  • A woman practicing yoga indoors on a white mat, performing a side stretch pose with one hand on the floor and the other arm extended overhead.

    Hatha

In Hatha you will practice many elements of yoga; asanas (poses), pranayama (control of breath) and meditation. Hatha allows for more time in each pose, using breath to open up the pose, as well as considering how the mind responds to periods of stillness. Hatha yoga is a terrific way to begin och continue your journey of yoga. This style of yoga is suitable for all levels.

  • A woman practicing yoga in a black sports outfit on a white mat in a room with wooden flooring and neutral walls.

    Vinyasa

Vinyasa is an ashtanga based form of practice, where the teacher will guide you through a flowing and dynamic sequence of asanas (poses). These classes are great for strengthening, increasing flexibility and aligning the body. Students will be encouraged to safely explore the poses and variations will be given to suit all levels.

  • A woman with tattoos practicing yoga on a black mat, in a downward dog pose with her head near the floor and her arms extended forward.

    Yin

Yin yoga is a slow practice that cultivates a deep sense of awareness through the release of mind and body stresses. As an antidote to urban life, yin focuses on releasing the connective tissue of the body (tendons, ligaments and fascia). Poses are held for long periods, inviting the student to fully relax. This is a great class for stretching and lengthening the body.

  • Person practicing yoga in a seated forward bend pose with head resting on a yoga block on a wooden floor, white wall in background.

    Embodied Yin

Embodied Yin invites us to slowly and intuitively move in and out of poses and embrace our capacities for healing through body and mind connection. With the use of props such as bolsters, blankets and blocks we aim to fully relax the body. This class invites you to softly follow your own currents and signals.

  • A woman practicing yoga or stretching in a room, lying on a mat with her legs extended vertically against the wall and arms stretched out behind her.

    Relax and Restore

Restorative yoga is simply that – restorative. It is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching, centering of your breath and body. During the long holding of poses, your muscles are allowed to relax deeply. Restorative classes are very mellow, a great complement to an active lifestyle.

  • A woman practicing yoga or meditation, sitting cross-legged on a mat with one hand on her chest and the other on her stomach, eyes closed, in front of a plain white wall.

    Breathwork

You will be guided through a number of breathing exercises to open up the respiratory system, release tension, reduce stress and improve sleep patterns. This class can give you an energy boost as well as some clarity and focus and allow healing whilst bringing you a relaxed and loving state of mind.

  • Woman practicing yoga in a challenging pose on a black mat, smiling and looking at the camera.

    Rocket

Rocket Yoga is a dynamic and flowing form of ashtanga yoga, where the aim is to make advanced postures more accessible and fun to general practitioners. The sequence begins with sun salutations before moving on to standing and seated postures, then inversions and arm balances. Suitable for adventurous beginners and beyond.

    Movement

A cross-disciplinary way of approaching movement that doesn’t limit itself to one isolated style. In a class you may find elements of gymnastics, acrobatics, martial arts, dance or even parkour. One of the main goals is to recognize the common threads behind each discipline and learn how to transfer the knowledge gained from one method to another – to become a better ‘mover’ overall.

  • Woman doing yoga in a lunge pose on a yoga mat in a room with plain wall and hardwood floor.

    Soma Move
