Kilter All-Stars is our own competition format taking place on our beloved Kilter Board.
Our route setters prepare custom boulders for an invited selection of some of our favorite climbers to battle it out in duels.
We invite everyone to come and watch! It’s completely free, there will be a raffle, live commentary, DJ, drinks and a generous raffle courtesy of our partner Arc’teryx.
Expect an evening of old school basement vibes!

Format
The climbers compete in teams of two. Teams are matched up and battle each other in duels. In the duels, team members are matched against equal opponents from the other team. In the duel, the goal is to climb further than the opponent, scoring points to the team. When both team members have done their duels, the team with the most points wins the battle.
Scoring
The climbers only get one try per boulder - per duel.
3 point - Climb to the top, while your opponent doesn’t.
2,5 point - Both you and your opponent climb to the top.
2 point - Climb further than your opponent
1 point - Reaching the same hold as your opponent, without topping
Group stage
The teams are divided into two groups where they challenge the other teams. The team with the most points after the group stage will have an advantage in the play-offs.
Play-offs
After the group stage, the team with the most points from their group will battle the lowest scoring team from the other group. The 2nd highest team in group “A” will go against the 3rd team in group “B” and so on. In the play-offs, the winning team advance to the next round, the loosing team is knocked out of the competition.
